Your game data stays on your device
All game progress — your guesses, win streaks, and statistics — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset your progress.
The only exception: when you solve a puzzle, the site increments an anonymous global counter (the "hunters have already found out" number) — a single shared tally per day. No identifier of yours is sent or stored with it.
Analytics
This site may use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and session counts. No personally identifiable information is collected. Google Analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Analytics is only active when a measurement ID is configured for the deployment.
No accounts, no data stored by us
Hunterxhunterdle does not require registration or sign-in. This site stores nothing about you on any server. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data, and there are no third-party advertising trackers on this site. The only external data processing is the anonymous, aggregate analytics described above, which is handled by Google.
